Additionally, in summer, circulating cold water through the radiator circuit (using an air source or geothermal system) transforms the radiators into a cooling system. The system includes a probe that must be attached to the radiator; depending on the radiator temperature, the fans activate. The control system is manually adjusted with four buttons that allow setting the fan start and stop temperatures, making it possible to activate them with heat or cold.<\/p>\n<p>The default system has one fan per radiator element\/module, although it is possible to install one fan for every two elements if desired.<\/p>\n<p>The system is easy to install: It adapts to all types of radiators without the need for construction work.<\/p>\n<p>There are two options for the fans: a silent version and a more powerful version that recirculates more air but is noisier. Below you will find a photo showing the different types of radiators, allowing you to select the one you want when placing your order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fans:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quiet: 19.5 CFM \/ 14.3 dBA (recommended for bedrooms, studies, living rooms\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Powerful: 23.4 CFM \/ 18 dBA (recommended for high temperature radiators (&lt;45\u00ba) and places where noise is not bothersome, for example kitchen, bathroom or similar)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Modes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In heating mode: when the radiator temperature rises, the fans activate, increasing airflow through the radiator and improving its efficiency. This lowers the output temperature, thus reducing energy consumption.<\/li>\n<li>In air conditioning mode: when cooled water is circulated through the radiators (using air source or ground source heat pumps), the fans turn on, optimizing radiator performance through convection. This allows each room to be cooled to a low temperature, preventing condensation.&lt;br&gt;Similarly, when the drive system is turned off and the radiator temperature rises, the equipment detects it and stops.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operation: The system consists of a display, 4 buttons and an on\/off switch, two buttons to adjust the fan start temperature, and 2 other buttons to control the stop temperature. The display shows the start temperature on the left, the temperature of the probe in contact with the radiator in the middle, and finally the stop temperature on the right.
