At RJ Engineering, we don't have a dyno. We only load ECUMAP reprogrammings into control units. Here you can find information on some of the different configurations that can be programmed.

  • Stage 1: This consists of an individual reprogramming of the vehicle's engine management system. Therefore, the adjustment of engine parameters such as (ignition, fuel injection, etc.) is tailored on the dyno. All engine parameter values in this Stage remain within the safety standards prescribed by the manufacturer. Stage 1 is 100% of confidence—in short, more worry-free driving pleasure.
  • Stage 2For those looking for more than just Stage 1, we have Stage 2, which consists of optimizing several engine components to increase engine block efficiency. These modifications primarily focus on fuel consumption and exhaust systems to increase engine efficiency. Many intake systems are restrictive due to their anti-resonance structure, which is intended to dampen intake noise. By installing a sport air filter or a custom air intake, you allow more airflow to the engine, resulting in greater power gains. As the manufacturer's safety standards are reached in Stage 2, certain parts must be reinforced, such as the clutch. Each Stage indicates which parts are replaced.
  • Stage 3In Stage 3, we go a step further, replacing certain internal engine parts such as turbochargers and camshafts. This allows us to increase cylinder capacity by installing sport camshafts or higher-flow turbochargers. In some cases, there may be certain risks inherent in professionalism, but not always. Manufacturers often build a more basic engine block using larger turbos and the same injectors for several different engines. Needless to say, we can sometimes enhance the engine with original brand components from more developed models without compromising reliability, since the manufacturer had already anticipated these technological developments.
  • DPF/FAPWe use various methods to deactivate DPF regeneration. After a successful shutdown, the filter can be removed from the exhaust system without generating error codes or limp home mode.
  • EGRTo deactivate the EGR valve, we use different solutions depending on the model. In the end, the EGR valve is deactivated and causes no further problems. The engine will be more efficient and will save fuel.
  • Intake Swirl FlapsSome vehicles have problems with the flaps, and since repair costs are high, we simply offer to disable them by unplugging them and removing their functionality.
