One of the most important stages when creating a new product or developing a new project or idea is 3D part design. In this phase, the client's criteria, needs, and requirements must be defined. It is essential for the project's success that these aspects are clear and defined so that the mechanical part designer can adhere to them and perform their work correctly.

In this first phase, 3D models of the necessary parts that will form the subsequent assemblies and/or final product will be obtained. To create these virtual models, important characteristics such as dimensions, geometry, applied tolerances, the materials used to manufacture them, etc., must be defined.

In addition, other parameters such as finishes, colors, textures, etc. will also be defined. This will allow for photorealistic compositions to visualize the final appearance of the product or its components.

From these defined virtual models, both manufacturing plans and prototypes of the designed components can be obtained.

Another important aspect to consider in this first phase is identifying potential problems that could arise in later stages. These problems, if they arise during the manufacturing phase, would result in significant financial, time, and effort costs to resolve. It's vital to identify and correct these problems during this 3D part design phase so that these costs are minimized and the subsequent manufacturing process is as optimized as possible.

As a general rule, we always advise our clients to first manufacture a prototype before launching into the industrialization of their idea or product, verifying that everything is correct and conducting functional tests. This is very important for maximizing the chances of success.

In addition to 3D designs, we can also perform stress analysis of components that are subjected to forces and fluid aerodynamics.

We work primarily with 3D tools Solidworks and Autodesk Fusion 360

For the design of electronic boards and models we use the Proteus tool.
